Hi again,
Well we've arrived safe and sound in Buenos Aires, to our hotel, the Emperador, which is very central, just off the main Avenue 9 de Julio.
We started off at Gatwick on Sunday morning about 7.30, under the expert guidance of our tour leader Simon. Flew to Madrid. We had a bit of a delay due to Spanish Air Traffic control problems, but got to Madrid in time for a nice lesiurely lunch and a stroll about be
fore returning to the airport for our flight to Buenos Aires. It was a long one - 12 hours, and we arrived at about 7am this morning, and transferred to our hotel. Today
was at leisure to recover ! And we had dinner tonight at a local Italian restaurant near the hotel. We had a lovely meal - very Argentinian .. tons of steak and lashings of red wine .. a good start ! There may be a stewart's enquiry tomorrow if Allison and Colin bring home the bacon, as they were last seen with some very dodgy local substance
that was loosley referred to as tea .. see evidence ! And here's Simon sorting out affairs with the restaurant after the meal.
Our first game is tomorrow morning at the Martindale Golf Club. We're hoping that the weather folks here are as bad as in the UK, as there's rain forecast .. so we'll hope for the best. Really looking forward to the game tomorrow and I'll report on it tomorrow night.
